Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill - Midland, Ontario

We stopped by Chuck’s Roadhouse in Midland for lunch on Saturday afternoon and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. We were able to grab a spot on the patio, which had a nice breeze and made the experience even better. It was a great setting to relax and enjoy our meal.

We started with mozzarella sticks, calamari and Chuck’s massive salad, all of which were fresh, well-prepared and full of flavour. For my main, I had the cheeseburger with fries, which was cooked perfectly and hit the spot. The rest of the group went with custom mains featuring two lobster tails each, and everyone had nothing but great things to say.

Our server was friendly, attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The service really helped elevate the overall experience.

We’ll definitely be coming back the next time we’re in Midland. Highly recommend this spot for a casual, satisfying meal with great service and a comfortable patio atmosphere.

My daughter and I went out for dinner, and we each got the surf and turf.

Very attentive server.
The food was awesome. Steaks were cooked to our liking pretty perfectly.
Lobster was tasty also. Onion rings were actually worth a mention so was the gravy...

Enjoyed the chicken and ribs cimbo. The portions were generous. Ribs were very good. The chicken, however, was a strange flat piece of overdone chicken breast. Fries were hot and crunchy. Hats off to the waitstaff. It was very busy but they managed to keep up.

Great food, staff is usually nice. But the waitress at the end was a bit rude after she picked up her tip. That's was a surprising! However, I will still give a positive review cause we do enjoy going to Chucks. Everyone is usually nice!!

if i could give zero i would. The hostess was extremely rude and the manager a young asian guy was really rude and disrespectful. i will be making a call to corporate about these two individuals. as their behaviour was UNACCEPTABLE.

My disabled mom has an emotional support dog. before going to the restaurant, i looked on their website to see if dogs were allowed on the patio. it said yes, as long as they are well-behaved. (i have attached a photo of where it says this) when we sat down on the patio with our dog, the waitress said they needed to see papers which we didn’t have since 1) they said on the website that it was okay to have any dog as long as they are well-behaved and 2) because we are from out of town. when we told them this, she went to get the manager and he said the same thing and that without papers we had to remove the dog from the patio. when we were leaving we said that you guys are gonna lose out on a lot of money and he shrugged and said that its fine and then my mom said well find a better place to eat and the young man who claimed to be the manager (which i don’t believe) said good luck. TERRIBLE service, TERRIBLE people, do not EVER go here!!!!

First time going. Liked the vibe and service. Atmosphere was cool.
Ordered a Porterhouse on the menu. Medium rare.
When the servers came with our steaks.
She said" Can you cut into your steaks and see if they are properly cooked"
Lolololololol I have never ever been asked that ever at a place. Oh boy!!! I just said I am fine! My steak was kind of bland and griselley.
Will come back but probably won't have any steak on the menu.

UPDATE- I was told to send information on our situation that we had at Chuck's Roadhouse by a Manager or Management. Sent it all once and when I didn't hear from them for a while, just in case they didn't receive it!! So I send the info a second time .
It's been a while since we have eaten here. The only reason why I am saying all this is someone asked how is Chuck's and it stirred up some questions why
Not expecting a meal on the house. But makes me think some places ignore complaints.

Chuck says he is offering bigger portions for less money yet he collects 3% extra on your bill to make it happen. I find the matter perplexing. The ribs were all meat and no fat, perhaps one of the best cuts I have ever eaten from a restaurant but they lacked flavor. The French fries are a snooze fest and drastically need to be revamped. The boneless chicken wings are odd shaped little chicken fingers and the regular wings are big breaded fellas. The steaks are fair but nothing to write home about. The lobster tails were semi-fake and OK. The deserts were pretty good. The bar is a great TV viewing sports venue. A warehouse restaurant that was once PIE Pizza bar, Chucks in Midland is a lively food eatery that has something for all. The service was top level on a busy Friday night. Our server, Lisa, did a fantastic job and so did the rest of the gang helping our table. Chucks is good bang for buck but a few changes wouldn't hurt. The bathrooms are large, modern and clean. I think it is worth checking out and well worth revisiting to get in on some of the food & drink specials. Lots of parking and I think it is wheel chair accessible.

Good atmosphere and the server was very attentive. Food came within reasonable time but was cold in the centre as though it had been sitting and rewarded in an oven. The manager (i think he was) offered to replace the meals but the urge for dinner passed.
